After working for several major Architectural and Interior Design firms throughout Southern California for more than twenty five years, Maio + Grodsky Architecture - Planning - Interiors was established in 2013 by Principals Miguel Maio and Jeff Grodsky to provide full integrated design services. The firm’s Principals have extensive and diverse project experience including, healthcare, K-12, corporate and commercial interiors, tenant improvement, civic as well as residential. Our practice areas are Architecture, Design, Interior Design & planning.
Maio + Grodsky focuses on innovation while understanding the client’s vision and the value of guiding design solutions assuring innovation, functionality, regulatory, schedule and budget requirements. The core of our design ideas are simplicity, beauty, efficiency with emphasis on sustainability, natural light and human scale. Our approach to projects is grounded in creating a solid partnership with each client, gaining a strong understanding of essential project drivers and goals and how best to achieve them by providing outstanding services.
Our working style places particular emphasis on the participation and ability to lead diverse groups through the planning and design process, facilitating clear communication and ensuring every voice is heard. Miguel Maio, AIA
A licensed California architect with significant experience and proven success in leading and delivering small to large scale multiphase projects from concept through construction with top-tier institutional clients.
Recognized as innovative, assuring best value design solutions to operational, regulatory, construction, budget, and schedule requirements without compromising the client’s aspirations.
Miguel is equipped with the know-how to efficiently and thoroughly execute documentation and administration of all project phases, including planning, programming, design, bidding and construction.
Miguel is an active board member of the AIA San Fernando Valle Chapter and served as the Chapter’s president during 2015-2016.
Jeff Grodsky, CID
As an accomplished and client focused interior design professional with more than 25 years’ experience in conceptual design, space planning and client leadership, Jeff is adept in working with colleagues and clients to achieve a shared vision that fosters creativity and delivers exceptional results.
He has extensive experience in the programming and planning of tenant improvements and the design of corporate and commercial interiors. He has built a solid reputation in the commercial real estate community for advocating both, the interest of the owner and the leasing agent while simultaneously providing a high level of professional services to the prospective tenant. His commitment to meeting all project deliverables with a high level of skill and urgency is of the utmost importance.
Jeff is a registered certified Interior Designer in California.
